Setanta O’hAilpin Punches Cameron Cloke

Earlier today, Setanta O’hAilpin actually did what many of the footballing community have wanted to do for a long time, and KO’d Cameron Cloke at a Carlton Footy Club practice match.

The whole escapade climaxed when O’hAilpin not so jocularly implanted his right footy boot into Cloke’s unconscious behind, only narrowly missing his manhood.

No reason for the punch up has yet been given, however one could extrapolate given the situation that Cloke had either:

a) made one too many jokes about diddle di dee potatoes;
b) asked if Setanta’s new air-conditioner helped in last weeks heat wave while riding his motorcycle; or
c) was the unlucky last person to have asked O’hAilpin wtf was up with his surname.

Evidently the honchos at Carlton are weighing up the possibility of sending O’hAilpin back to Ireland to join Tadgh Kenelly alongside the unpaid sporting elite. For now however, Greg Swann has announced he is bitterly disappointed in the incident and ordered O’hAilpin to some anger management classes.

As of today, it is only a month and a bit until the Richmond/Carlton showdown between old teammates Cousins and Judd who incidentally described the incident as “regrettable”. Only regrettable however, in the sense that Judd had not gotten to punch Cloke first.

Setanta O'hAilpin gives Cameron Cloke a left hook

Not such a great start to the year for the “Old Dark Navy Blues’.
